docs in concert

In 2024 and 2025 we work on Docs in Concert; documentaries with live music of several wind bands.

Unique film scores will be composed for (at least) five films. Dutch wind bands can perform the music, live at screenings of the film.

Composer Jan Bosveld allready wrote the first exciting notes.

On December 1 his music of De Acht will premiere, with wind band Cecilia Princenhage (Breda) on stage.

December 14 & 15 wind band St Cecilia (Chaam) performs the film score in Chaam. Save the dates!

FilmMusic is:

– unique repertoire and new challenges for wind bands

– an exciting live experience for documentaries

– a series of surprising CineConcerts

The idea for this project started with our documentary Het verdriet van carnaval (Carnival of Tears). Wind bands played the film score of composer Jesse Passenier. The picture is a concert in Paradiso, Amsterdam.
